What body type would that make me?

I can’t really decide based on just your measurements alone, so ask yourself these questions.

  • When you gain weight, where is the first place it goes? Apple= stomach/boobs, Rectangle= evenly across/no area in particular, Pear= thighs/hips/lower stomach (this is me), Hourglass= boobs/hips/upper thighs.
  • with your chest measurement, which do you think makes your measurement higher- the width of your rib cage/shoulders, or your bust? For me, I have a minimal bust but my chest measurement seems higher just because of my rib cage being wider, so I know I’m a pear.
  • Are your shoulders and hips the same width? (not circumference, but when you look at yourself straight on, do your hips and shoulders look parallel?)
  • Is there a little curve and you are pretty thin all over? (this is what i’d guess just based on your measurements, because you have a small waist, hips and shoulders) this would make you more of a rectangle.
  • if you’re a rectangle with those measurements you probably have thinner thighs, but if you’re a pear then the thighs should have more shape and be thicker. if you’re an hourglass then your thighs will be bigger at the top and then be thinner around the knees.
